Shell
Bob Pomp... said tonight that "RS has had a lot of red flags attached to him and he better get his act together or his Pitt career is gonna pass him by..."

Bob had a good relationship with this young man last year and he really doesn't have a history of being tough on local kids. So, if bob said there is an issue then there is an issue.

This kid needs to grow up!

Kinda sad, hopefully Shell gets his act together if what Bob says is true.

Hmmm...gotta wonder why some highly rated running backs were still looking hard at Pitt despite having Shell on board. Maybe the coaches are looking for an insurance policy...

and I can't blame them. I think after all the soap opera crap involved with Wanny's lack of discipline, their mini revolt after his was fired and the Haymaker Graham fiasco... I think Paul Chryst has some serious rebuilding to do.

I mean after that performance the players are still complaining about the lack of names in the jersys then this group just doesn't get it. This is gonna take time guys...

I agree with your post. I don't think the 2012 squad is nearly as bad as the scoreboard indicated against YSU. However, I think there are an awful lot of "me first" guys on this team. I could give a crap if there are names on the jerseys or not. The kids should be worried about being embarrassed by a YSU squad. If they aren't, then Chryst is the right guy to change the culture. If he could make Pitt into the Wisconsin that we saw from 1994 - 2005 (the years Hueber was OL coach - yeah, I'm recycling an idea here), all of us would be elated. They went to 3 Rose Bowls, Sun Bowl, Copper Bowl and a few other lower level bowls. Three BCS bowls in a decade would make any Pitt fan elated IMO. I strongly believe Chryst can do it.
