I gotcha. Conference Realignment is a headache to even think about and even more of a headache to even think about if we lost Georgia state or Texas State to the Big Least when we just got them.

Georgia State isnt going anywhere anytime soon. They are aweful at Basketball. And will take several years to start really winning football games in the SBC...

I hear what your saying. At the same time with Benson rebranding our conference, teams within the SBC located in big market areas such as Atlanta are going to get a lot more attention not only for recruiting purposes but from other conferences as well. I give them maybe 2 years to start actually competing with all other belt teams for a title. Once their success starts taking off you better believe they are going to have conferences like the Big East after them. I just hope we are able to build the SBC up to the point where we compete with conferences such as the Big East...even though they are more of a basketball conference.

Thats why i said in the subject title..."would" this happen not "is" this going to happen. I figured with the market GSU has it would make sense in the near future for the BE or any other conference to pick them up once they get up to par with teams in our conference and start having some success.

Awful at basketball? 22-12 in 2011-12 in the CAA. New coach has had exactly one losing season out of 17 as head coach. Brand new day.
