How many of you are coming to the Walled City? Im expecting a good crowd and if UL travels well it could be even larger.

I expect there to be no less than 20k. First Game, New field, and Basketball Arena next door people are going to come out to this game. PLUS bama and barn have morning/early afternoon games...

I saw an improvement in the Defense in the UAB game. or was that just me?

Offense was also improved though we didnt pass quite as much as we ususally do, But that could be because it was raining 80% of the game.

The defense was markedly better. Still some mistakes, but hey we're TACKLING and WRAPPING UP and have a thing called DEPTH. That's what happens when you bring in the #2 HS corner back and a JUCO All American corner as well as two very good and large DT's that will play more as the season progresses.

We've improved on defense, but UL's offense is a lot better than UAB's. We need to be ready.

I don't travel down that way often, unfortunately. A quick look though, you're gonna probably have to go through a lot of backwoods possum infested farmlands to get here from where you are. If you were coming from PC I'd say just take US 231.

You are correct Hemi. That is the fastest route. 2 hours. Unless you want to bypass opp and go through Kinston which that would be faster, but you have to know the roads to do it.

Cajuns defense looked good last night...but it was against Lamar. On the offense...you guys might cringe when you see the size of our offensive line.

Crestview through Laurel Hill to Florala, Opp, Elba then you will be at your destination in Troy. Fastest way. 2 hr drive.

Hey guys I dont see it happening for me. Taking the next Friday off to go watch UL/Ok St.. just cant, in good conscience, miss that much work.. I have been invited by a few of you personally and I really apprecaite your gracious offer. Sooner or later I will make the trip, it just isnt possible next week.

It ought to be a great game, Hopefully no injuries. I dont think either of us really got a good grasp on how good our teams are..you guys coasted against a really crappy CUSA team and we dropped 40 in the first half on a 1AA (or is it D2, I forget) ...Anyway, bells will be rung numerous times. May the best team win.

I was planning on attending, but just started a new job and I will be headed to H-town tomorrow for the next 11 weeks. I just hope I am able to make the remaining Cajun home games outside of the stAte game.
