So you showed up to throw the Big East into the mix, and make it three?

Well truthfully the New (2013) Big East has a better Sagarin football rating than the New ACC. And yes, that includes lowly Memphis. So no.

That's more the ACC being bad than the nBE being good. Other than a Clemson win, that conference looked just as bad as the rest of us. Honestly everybody but the SEC looked bad. Maybe the Big 12 looked okay. B1G and PAC looked below average. MWC looked subpar. The MAC looked good, but the they always do week 1. The rest of us were awful. But in the order of ACC, BE, CUSA, SB.

And both are light years ahead of CUSA and Sun Belt in football. Add to that the fact that the Big East and ACC are two of the elite basketball conferences in the nation and really the comparisons are silly.

Leave it to a Memphis fan to change the topic to basketball as quickly as possible.

When I said "you guys", I was referring to MTSU, who the OP is a fan of. Memphis is a BE member, but is also one of our 2 or 3 worst programs for several years now. Houston is also a future BE member. And anyone who thought Houston would be one of "the best" in the conference just isn't paying attention. They'll be right around 6-6, which is likely right where the SB champ will be.

WKU went 7-1 against the Slum Belt last year, including beating Troy by 23, and they lost at home by 28 to a FCS team. So, what does that say about the Belch? They should give you a spot in the FCS play offs since most of your schools are glorified JUCOs anyway.

Whatever happened in week one will be a distant memory when Georgia State enters the SunBelt.

There will be a record set for the number of away homecoming games by Georgia State when they enter the conference. Sun Belt picked the wrong GSU, and that anchor will hang around the league's neck for years to come.
