When Jerry Kill didn't play Harnish against ISU? What the crap was that?

Yes, and I yelled at the TV all night long.

Never happened. He played and we won and then we celebrated a win over a Big XII team... and that's all we're going to discuss about it.

That not only hurt us that game, but when we played Illinois, Harnish was just shaking off the rust and we weren't as sharp as we could have been had Harnish been playing his third game of the year at that point. That Illinois game was winnable and we would have won if Chandler had been starting through the spring/ fall and early season and if Kill would have had a fricking field goal kicker.

Ugh...so many missed opportunities.

If I knew how I'd email HWSNBN Harnish's highlights from last night.

That move actually got me really excited for Grady, thinking that if he was better than Harnish, then holy crap he was gonna be amazing and a God to the game of football. How wrong I was.

lol it took bleeds and myself all of a quarter and a half to start yelling for Harnish to come in.

Remember when Grady played against Tennessee and we still had a chance to win in spite of QB draws on every play? So many missed opportunities. That was because of injury, but still we win that game if any serviceable QB plays.

do you remember when harnish got hurt before that game (some dr's said he may not be back and able to play) and Kill didnt start him due to rehabilitation and making sure he was alright!

you guys need to get the story straight!

That is total total total BS. Harnish has even said he was BENCHED. You really need to stop spinning these stories yesman it just looks so desperate. Having said that, the benching of Harnish in hindsight imo was probably something that helped Harnish in the long run. The way Harnish talks it sounded like it lit an absolute fire under him. I dont know if that was what jk was trying to do, I doubt it, I think it was an unintended result of a dumb decision. But still,l I think Harnish benefited greatly from that.

Yep, Harnish himself said he was benced and was getting no reps in practice. He also said Kill told him he had one shot or he was moving on to Lynch. Can you imagine if Harnish didn't play as well as he did against North Dakota? The last two years may never have happened.

And I don't think it helped Harnish at all. Look at his numbers from his freshman to soph year, he was getting better. He progressed all 4 years he was here.

I hope Jerry packed a nice extra ham sammich in that lunch pail the day he decided to bench Chan Chan. I'd like to think someone would speak up as to how dumb of an idea that would be and he had to give the guy a sandwich to get him to pipe down.
