Mars Hill is D2, so I wouldn't put too much stock into that score...

Mars Hill is to DII what Western Carolina is to IAA. One of the worst teams at their level. But with that score Eddie Sullivan may have lost his job by being stupid and getting suspended.

RE: Western Carolina
They aren't bad at the D2 level, they had the top player in the division last year and made it to the D2 playoffs. However, I think this season was supposed to be a bit of a rebuilding season.

Anybody that just had 69 points laid on them, shouldn't be calling any other team - bad - so I guess Marshall is one of the worst teams at their level ?

Maybe we'll find out next week. You coming to the game? If so, hope you have a nice trip.

You all going to let Little Eddie come out and play next week. I hope so, I know a few people that want to show him Joan C Edward stadiums' turf. The kid is a quitter and I hope we knock him to the turf many times. And knock him out of the game in the 2nd half. I haven't wanted to knock a QB out of a game since the 1998 GMAC Bowl. When I wanted to and got Chris Redman of Louisville out of the game.

The Who is ligit right now thanks to our head coach. Doc recruited most of their O- starters right now including Gino Smith and Steadman Bailey.

Im extreamly happy with the new look offense. We had 565 yards on the O- with 412 in the air. This is the best looking O- and OLine since Stan Hill was under center. Am I happy with the loss, no. But I am happy that the handcuffs were taken off of Cato.

A West Virginia fan told me they didn't know Marshall played football either. Well, not so well, anyway.

We could have easily had 55 points against the Who. We had 2 TDs called back on phantom holding calls. Ive watched the game 2 more times and there was no holding on either play. And Cato over threw A. Wilson by 3 yards right down the middle that would have went for a 62 yard TD.

If we don't at least drop 50 on Western its because DOC has put Frohnapfel in and he is handing off each time. But then who's to say that Watson, Butler and Grooms just wouldn't run all over WCU.
