UCONN D will make a lot of teams look bad. RU will find out too. There is a reason UMASS QB could not get out of his own way. He was under massive pressure at all time. UCONN DLs were getting to him rushing 3.

clearly umass is intimidated, i thought they would be much better.
i remember they almost beat michigan two years ago.
i like the packages with nick williams. as i say every year watch out for the underated dogs. watch out for TEMPLE they got a good coach an decent players.

i love to prove you guys wrong every year, huskies defence looks really good.

As anyone can tell form these first few games that the BE is simply no better then any MAC teams. 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

Akron is only scoring in garbage time. UCF had them shut down and UConn was abusing UMass. I think it's safe to say that the nBE Conference is significantly better then the MAC Conference. 04-rock04-cheers04-rock

No just commenting on what the MAC Commish said. But whatever. My guess is it would have been fine if you'd had posted it. 01-wingedeagle

No SH*T! Why do we even brag about these games???

I understand Mesto and his frustration with the critics, but really, we expect these wins at a minimum.

RE: UConn vs UMass Game Thread
UConn is #1 in New England college sports. Now UMass is playing FBS football (sort of) at Gillette Stadium. All of this pushes BC into further irrelevance.

First off it's a message board. Not like I'm running around thumping my chest or some such. Second off, I was just checking old posts and saw the comment made by the MAC Commish. So, I made this post. Sorry my fun sooooooooooo irritated you Cinci fans. It's still some funny stick!!!! COGS

34-0 UConn. I am happy with the receivers and defense, but the QB position is still a work in progress and the OL is awful.

Off topic, if anyone checked the S.C. vs Vandy game. I can tell you for sure, don't bet on S.C. going anywhere this year. 05-stirthepot

If the OL can't move the middle of the UMass D-line, they probably can't do it against NC State or Louisville. But that's about my only concern.

I didn't get to watch as I'm at work however, the team can compensate via play calling. Working in line shift or using audibles and double teams, they can make lanes and not necessarily have to move/pressure/push the line all the time. Lots of schools compensate for size/strength mismatches this way. I'm sure the UConn coaches will see the issue and address it. 04-cheers

Man, UConn's QB should have had an INT there.

Not saying you're wrong, because...well it's kind of a "no **** sherlock" kind of statement.

You are looking at probably the two worst MAC teams though.

I'm CONCERNED about our trip to Toledo. I'm confident we'll win, but not arrogant enough to predict a romp.

There are some good teams in that league, and you're right. Akron and UMass aren't them.
