clearly umass is intimidated, i thought they would be much better.
i remember they almost beat michigan two years ago.

As anyone can tell form these first few games that the BE is simply no better then any MAC teams.

Akron is only scoring in garbage time. UCF had them shut down and UConn was abusing UMass. I think it's safe to say that the nBE Conference is significantly better then the MAC Conference.

I understand Mesto and his frustration with the critics, but really, we expect these wins at a minimum.

UConn is #1 in New England college sports. Now UMass is playing FBS football (sort of) at Gillette Stadium. All of this pushes BC into further irrelevance.

Off topic, if anyone checked the S.C. vs Vandy game. I can tell you for sure, don't bet on S.C. going anywhere this year.

If the OL can't move the middle of the UMass D-line, they probably can't do it against NC State or Louisville. But that's about my only concern.

I didn't get to watch as I'm at work however, the team can compensate via play calling. Working in line shift or using audibles and double teams, they can make lanes and not necessarily have to move/pressure/push the line all the time. Lots of schools compensate for size/strength mismatches this way. I'm sure the UConn coaches will see the issue and address it.

Man, UConn's QB should have had an INT there.

You are looking at probably the two worst MAC teams though.

There are some good teams in that league, and you're right. Akron and UMass aren't them.
