How New Big East Schools Have Fared Against BCS Teams
This post (copied from a Memphis board), is Big East relevant (and interesting):
What follows is the number of schools from current BCS conferences that each Big East school has defeated in football (not including current and/or future members of the Big East). In addition, I list how many of those teams represent the current SEC (generally accepted as the strongest football conference). It does not include how many wins over those schools. Here goes.....
Memphis 17 BCS schools defeated; 10 from SEC
Louisville 25 BCS schools defeated; 2 from SEC
Rutgers 20 BCS schools defeated; 4 from SEC
UConn 12 BCS schools defeated; 2 from SEC
USF 12 BCS schools defeated; 1 from SEC
UCF 3 BCS schools defeated; 2 from SEC
Temple 21 BCS schools defeated; 6 from SEC
Navy 29 BCS schools defeated; 5 from SEC
San Diego State 13 BCS schools defeated; 0 from SEC
Boise State 8 BCS schools defeated; 1 from SEC
Houston 37 BCS schools defeated; 12 from SEC
SMU 36 BCS schools defeated; 9 from SEC
Cincinnati 24 BCS schools defeated; 6 from SEC

Boise is 8-1 against AQ teams, 6 finished ranked. This is under Petersen. They should be the Big East workhorse.

Ugh. Did you really have to go there? I'll be the first to admit UCF's record against BCS teams is beyond abyssmal. But, for accuracy's sake, we've defeated 4 BCS schools (Alabama, NC State, UGA, and BC).
On the bright side, our "moral victory" record is actually pretty good!

The only BCS school we have beaten in recent memory is Kansas and that was 10 years ago. TCU was in the MWC.

TCU is in the Big 12 so you can count them.

Wazzu, while terrible at the time, was a BCS school when SMU beat them a few years ago.
