With thangs like Stubhub & Ebay I'm also sure there will be more than 89 Pitt fans at the game. Even I never use Pitt to buy tix for a bowl and such.

I've been to dozens of road games...and I always buy from the team allotment...as its a heck of a lot more fun sitting with own your fanbase (maybe on the 20) vs being stuck in the middle of an opposing alumni section on the 45 yd line.

If I want a 50 yd line seat to a road game, I'd just stay at home and watch on TV...as you can't beat hanging out with your OWN fans in an opposing stadium.

I agree, and Pitt was a drivable conference game for UC fans. The only other 2 are Louisville and OOC Miami. However we have Toledo this year and upcoming road games at Purdue and Illinois which are drivable.

I dunno... I kinda enjoy a little trash talk and mingling w/ folk from another fan base. Clear exception to that rule is WVU 03-lmfao

Pitt will fit right in if they win the ACC and have to attend the ACC Championship game.

Obviously they're just above playing lowly schools from the Big East.

Outside of Va Tech...and most games at Clemson...that's never really been the case.

Heh, while attendance has struggled from the recession, FSU clearly fits in that group with VT and Clemson.

89 tickets? Yeesh. I wonder if some Pitt fans bought tickets without specifically requesting tickets from their school's allotment. Not that UConn travels that well either (though we do travel for bowl games), but man...

I am guessing another 89 or so will buy tickets from Stub Hub and other outlets.

Truth be told Pitt has never traveled well to UC-- despite the fact we are about a 4.5 hour drive from one another, our cities are very similar and out schools have had some really good contests versus one another for the past five years or so. I think the most I have ever seen is a couple hundred in one season. WVU and UofL have traveled the best here in the past.

About what they have brought to town every other year dating back to Dantonio. Lame. Again.

Pitt is going to face it's most hostile environment outside of Morgantown. Tino is going to chit his pants.
