Harnish last night
Stats show he was 12 of 19 with no TDs or picks. Numbers seem respectable enough. Anyone watch the game who could tell us how he looked?

P.S. Redskins' Rex Grossman 8 for 8, 2 TDs. Holy crap!

He looked great, imo. He threw some great deep balls while under pressure. I gotta say, while he might not have the biggest arm, he's gotta have one of the most accurate over the shoulder throws out there. He used his legs to pick up a first down, throwing aside a would-be tackler. He lucked much much more confident than he did last week.

Didn't see the game. I did read that Stanton didn't play because his wife was giving birth.

Chandler's numbers look very good. His 12 for 19 was for 147 yds, which works out to 7.7 yds/pass attempt.

See what you did there? 03-lmfao

Anywho...thought he looked good too, but almost got picked on that last pass like he did last week. Again a long pass to the sideline.

He did us proud. He looked comfortable and capable. He was sacked early on through no fault of his own, but it didn't bother him. He came right back and played a great game. I would think if the Colts don't keep him some other team would sign him.

One of my least favorite plays when Chandler was at NIU. Seemed like Limegrover called it a lot, Canada not quite as much.

That play is a lot harder to pull off against NFL corners.

I think that the Colts have to be very pleased with his play and they know what they have in Harnish. I think that worst case they would keep him on the practice squad. I do not think that he has any chance of passing Stanton this year on the depth chart but he is making both Stanton and Luck better players with his good play.

I'm just not sure how many teams carry 3 QBs on the active squad. It could be that most do and it could be that few do, I would be interested in knowing this if someone more knowlegeable than me would like to chime in.

It is tough for a third string QB because they have more limited practice time and they really need to shine when they get their opportunuties. Harnish has done so and he also has exceptional leadership ability which is so important at that position.

Unless the rules have changed, all teams carry 3 QBs on their active roster. The third QB does not count against the gameday roster limit, and can only be put into the game if the first 2 QBs are injured.

RE: Harnish last night
Harnish will be kept as the #3 on the active roster because if they try to put him on the practice squad another team will claim him at this point.

I saw the first two drives which were pretty bad and had to leave. First he got a delay of game and was sacked, the next he was 1 for 4 and was behind on a pass up the middle. Glad to see he turned it around though.

Indy RB fumbled at the Wash 10 on a nice drive directed by Harnish, otherwise there could have been a TD opportunity.

Chandler Harnish seems like he sowed up the # 3 job. Good for him. I hope he can develop under the tutelage of the Indianapolis coaching staff.

Andrew Luck looks VERY special. It will be exciting to watch him progress the next two to three years. I bet he becomes one of the top 3 or 4 QBs in the AFC in two years.

I HATE that I missed seeing him play. I wonder if NFL network will re-play any of these preseason games.
Did Chandler come in during the 3rd or the 4th qtr?

Chandler came in in the 3rd quarter. First 2 or 3 possessions were not pretty, most of it not his fault.

RE: Harnish last night
He came in the second series of the 3Q.

With the horrible OL they have in Indy they'll probably need all 3 QBs. You'll see a lot of Stanton at least, I suspect.
