Neil Armstrong-Dead
Neil Armstrong, the first man to step foot on the moon and former professor of Aeorospace Engineering at the UC College of Engineering has died today. He was the commencement speaker at my graduation from UC in 1982. He was 82. He was one of the great Ohioans, born in Wapakoneta, Ohio.

The odd thing about this is the Columbus Dispatch is reporting this morning that it's unclear where he died. Armstrong lived in the Cincinnati subburb of Indian Hill for over 10 years until his death. He had recent heart surgery in Columbus (two weeks ago) and one news agency reported he died in Columbus. However, the Dispatch has said otherwise. I have a feeling the Columbus Hospital where he died does not want to go public.
