Interesting. Would love to know what the windows they have for each Saturday later in the season on each network are.

There are. This ESPN release lists 7 games for Noon. Last year there were 6 (9/17 Auburn-Clemson; 9/24 ND-Pitt; 10/8 Oklahoma-Texas; 11/12 Ok.St-Texas Tech and WVU-Cincy split coverage; 11/26 Ohio St-Michigan; 12/3 CUSA Championship). In 2010 there were only 2 tho. 11/27 Michigan-Ohio State and 12/4 Rutgers-WVU

I noticed that BYU only gets 2 games on ESPN this year. So what makes their deal better with ESPN than what one would be as a member of the new BE with a bigger payout? This is why I do NOT want the BE to resign with ESPN. They would underpay us and then only show a small amount of games. Whereas on NBC it's possible that 75% to all BE games would be televised through multiple networks with a bigger payout.

EDIT: I re-checked the original link and it has BYU for 5 games. So I don't know which list is more accurate. Still, for an independent power who has a contract deal with ESPN and only getting less than half of the games televised, that is not that great of a deal.

The amount isn't set . They are guaranteed 3 games a year on ABC/ESPN/ESPN2, one on ESPNU and are guaranteed one exclusive game for BYUTV. They have 6 home games this year. 1 has to be on BYU.TV (vs Weber State), and they have 3 set appearances on BYU. One on Thursday and 2 on Friday. Of the other 2 games, I'd speculate that ESPN/2 would show their game with Oregon State in the last window on 10/13 and then ESPNU would show the game vs Idaho.
