Our game with UAB will probably be nasty weather.

Im just praying 1st, that nobody gets hurt, and 2nd, there arent enough winds or any lightning to cancel the openers. I know App has got two big games in a row, having to make up a game on a Monday will really hurt us next weekend, and Im sure there are many schools in the same situation.

Im just hopping our game with Mississippi State at home is good weather. If so its going to be electric

Yeah, hate to lose the opportunity to pack em in for a big game b/c a little rain. Not to mention a couple thousand tickets worth of revenue.

I expect around 32-33K for the Mississippi State game
and Around 30k for Navy as long as weather for both are good.

We're expecting a record breaker next week too. This is usually a semi final matchup for us, and the first time theyve been to Boone.

Theyre bringing loads. Alot of them are making a weeks vacation of it, renting out cabins and such.

This is the biggest rivalry in the FCS, the two biggest and best fanbases, the two winningest programs in the last decade, and only the 3rd time we've met, the previous two being semi-finals in Montana, one ending in overtime, and the other a batted down pass on the goal line as the last play.

Its bigger tha the ECU game for us.

I'm not too much in the direct danger zone but I'll keep you guys updated on things in Miami. We have a TS Warning right now, but it's been dry for several hours now after raining since yesterday.

I'm in west Mobile county, about 20 miles from both the bay to the east and the gulf to the south. Started preparing today and went and bought some supplies. Lot of people out, but wasn't quite as hectic as I've seen before. D batteries are like gold around here though. Couldn't find a single one at 3 different stores. Gas lines were already getting long too. I don't sense much panic yet, but at the same time, we've been spared lately and people realize that it won't continue forever.

5 Day forecast from weatherunderground:

What the computer models say:

I know the forecast is very wide reaching, but there is a pretty big difference between the two...

I have seen a few weather junkies on here, which is more "reliable" the forecast or the computer models?

It really depends. Just one simple "wobble" in the path of the storm could cause its projected path to be thrown off. For the most part the "forecast" and "computer models" are - in the short term - the same, because of variables they all agree on. Then again - just one wobble could cause the short term forecast to be completely wrong. It depends. Sometimes the forecast NHC track is more accurate than the various computer models, sometimes it's not.

Really, the most accurate thing is the "swath" of the NHC's forecast track. It's not really one "line" of where it will go, it's a large zone of where it could go - and the line in the middle is the most likely place for that particular model. As you can see, the various computer models have the storm hitting anywhere from New Orleans to west of Appalachicola. The NHC forecast has it slightly east of where the computer models predict, but again - the most telling thing is the short term. The long term can be very difficult to accurately predict.

To answer your question, I'd say that generally the forecast given by the NHC / WeatherUnderground is more accurate, just due to the fact that it gives a swath of potential travel. It may be slightly more accurate in terms of the central track of the storm, but again it's very difficult to predict.

A lot of the models are now tracking towards the mouth of the mississippi river as a high cat 2. And then causing trouble in louisiana, mississippi, and arkansas over the weekend.

The ones from two days ago (google) have it toward mississippii, and the ones from 1 to 9 hours ago have it coming up through PC/Troy. Though this one has it going though Mississippii:
