Having lived in Nashville for many years, and knowing Vandy football, I can tell you that they will be quite good this year. In fact it would surprise me more if USC wins by like 10 or something. I expect Vandy will have a sold-out Dud and will get the upset.

I don't know so much about it being a low probability pick.

South Carolina struggled last year with Vanderbilt, and this will be the second year under the Franklin system.

I'm of the opinion that if South Carolina does win it will be by 5 points or less.

To add to this some information I just learned.

South Carolina will not have a starting CB (Auguste), at least one backup CB is out for the season (McWilliams) and another is dealing with a concussion (Christian) so his status is up in the air.

Starting QB Connor Shaw is day to day with back problems.

Backup RB Carson is out UFN with a broken wrist, and backup RB Wilds (the one who carried the load last year when Lattimore went down) is likely out for Vandy with an ankle injury.

One of their few experienced WRs is sidelined with a groin injury and unsure about when he will return. Another WR (Byrd) is nursing a shoulder injury but should be ready to play.

The past two years they have tended to come out of camp with few injuries. This is as beat up as I have seen them in a while.

I'm not going to rock the boat Week 1. Since nobody really knows who the better temas are at this point I guess it makes sense to just go with the top ranked teams most of the time.

I am. If you could devolope a web app to help out or if you want to talley the results yourself, that would be much appreciated. CP told me that last year he just figured them out with pen and paper and I was going to do the same. There are a lot more posters this year and will take some time to do it manually. I'll be out of town Sunday to Tuesday, so I was planning on listing week 2 before I leave Sunday and calculating the results for week 1 on Tuesday.

Bonus games were going to be 1 point each just like the regular games.

Need might be a strong word, but... a web app would be COOL! 03-nerd

(of course it'll include voting buttons, automatic scoring, season-to-date standings, etc.)
