it looks like I'm not the only one who feels blahhh about CUSA conference affiliation. It is just hard to get excited about comradery amongst conference mates this year. I'm only interested how Southern Miss fares this season. Just sayin'.

It's 10 am on a monday morning and there are 16 threads active today.... how much more active do you want it to be???

Plus, semesters are starting this week for a lot of universities and CCs.

I'm pulling for every team that'll be part of CUSA in 2015,except when they play my Pirates. Times are a changin and the new CUSA (as a whole) needs to do well together or become more "irrelevant". Many may not be happy about the direction of the new conference, but at this point, it is what it is. What will make the season interesting for me (butthurt or not) is hopefully seeing the the nBE schools that leaving CUSA / MWC taking a nosedive before they walk out the door.

I've thought the same thing, too. Although there a lot of conversations getting hits on the board, most aren't "hard football" topics. Instead it is more general discussions, conference expansion threads, etc.

Hoping the real football talk begins soon.

Until the season begins, not much to talk about.

I'm really deflated. I really liked C-USA and it's potential. I felt the conference could grow together and looked forward to watching the Big East collapse. The whole way things have turned out makes me sick and disappointed.

Considering we are still in between seasons, I think traffic is pretty high.
