Seriously? The continued crap coming from Hollywood makes me want to pull for the Soviets this time. Maybe if they win, sh!tty movies will quit coming out. Oh, wait, it isn't Soviets this time.

You know, the first one was a steaming pile of dung, but it at least had some emotion to play on, i.e. fear of a Soviet invasion. But, seriously, who is afraid of being invaded by North Korea?

I believe in the original it was the Cubans.

The first one was camp. Rah rah, jingoistic "die, Commie, die!" camp.

This looks to be much the same. Don't like it? Don't watch it.

Believe you me, I will not be watching it. And there are good movies that come out I guess. It is just that the bad ones are so bad they really get your attention.

One good aspect of war movies is that generally only the "good guys" can shoot straight and hit what they aim at. Real war doesn't have that forgiving factor.

Thank goodness it's only a movie.

Makes me want to buy an AK and keep it next to my AR.

that movie was ready to be released in 2010 but MGM BK. they were going to release it last year but it was held up because they needed to get out the computer editing and change all the bad guys uniforms from chinese to north korean (the chinese market is huge and they would not have allowed it to be shown in their country and if they get pissed the chinese govt might prevent other mgm films from being shown). in spite of that it will make a good bit more now than 2010 because a couple of the no name actors that stared in the movie became big name actors since it was made
