Adding to the schedule this year ODU has put out a style guide of what color to wear to what game. In typical ODU fashion they have not done a great job of getting the word out though. Apparently they gave out plastic schedule cards at the Big Blue BBQ/Spring Game but I missed that so I didn't get one. No matter. The colors we are being asked to were to what games are as followed:

9/1 Duquesne: White
9/15 Campbell: Silver
9/22 UNH: Blue
10/13 Villanova: Blue
10/27 Delaware: Silver
11/10 W&M: Black

This has been needed in both Basketball and Football for years. Very glad they did this.

We need some "special" cheers to welcome that whiny Laycock back into Foreman Field.

We can keep it simple with two suggestions-

1. Home side......Laaaaaaycock
Visiting side....Sucks

2. Home side........Laaaaaycock
Visiting side.....Not without Viagra!

Why can't we just wear ODU blue.

You actually can. It's still a free country.

This is all about merchandising.

One Blue sweat, one blue T and one Blue long sleeve and you have everything covered except rain.


Now you need 3 of each licensed ODU apparel; plus one of each color pancho for the rain.
I don't have anything gray.

Hate this black trend! Our colors are Slate Blue, Silver and White with accent of Columbia/light blue. Our mascot is called Big Blue. Using black is just stupid. I know I'm old and the younger generation loves black but we have 4 colors to use!

I never liked the black either, for the same reason; black is not an ODU color.

Bobby Wilder likes black and I am perfectly happy humoring him.
