Game 1: Dallas @ Oakland (W 3-0)
-4 tackles, 3 solo for Teddy.
-1 kick return, 19 yards.
-Good to see him back on the field. Actually it was vs. the Raiders (in 2010) that TW nabbed a fumble recovery in just his second NFL game. Would love to find a Youtube vid of that particular highlight.

Game 2: Aug 18 @ San Diego

I'm not a fan of the NFL but now that one of our own is playing I'm a little more interested again.

I watched the preseason game against Oakland just because I wanted to see Teddy Play.

BTW...the Dallascowboys.com site had his school as "Texas-San Antonio". I emailed them and let them know we prefer "UTSA".

The commentators gave Teddy a couple nice shout-outs during the Oakland game... also an info banner:

Unfortunately I was busy during tonight's game. Anyone catch it?

Box score: Teddy had 3 kick returns of 17/17/15 yards. He was also credited with 1 solo tackle, but it was against an onside kick recovery where the Chargers didn't try to advance the ball once they gained possession. I guess he had limited or no playtime at corner tonight.

Dallas, at home, just fought off a late comeback bid by St. Louis to escape 20-19. Game was 20-6 entering the 4th quarter.

Teddy had a 28-yard return and looks like one tackle.

Tonight's final at Jerry World: Dallas 30, Miami 13!

Whelp, Teddy had his best and worst game of the season. 8 solo tackles, plus a big kick return for 37 yards until... he was stripped. Miami recovered and got a field goal out of it.

Very possible. But if he is cut, in the past they've kept him for the practice squad which is good. Only 8 spots there.

I think we have to wait 24 hours or so to hear about the practice squad. There is a window of opportunity where other teams are allowed to sign a cut player iirc, so the practice squad gets put on hold until that window closes.

Damn. That sucks.

From what I can tell, Teddy cleared his waiver and was not signed to the practice squad. Not good. But he's a great guy and I'm sure he will continue to forge a successful path in life, inside or outside the NFL.

^ And so it came to pass. Yesterday (10/29/12), Teddy was signed by the Indianapolis Colts and is starting his time there on the practice squad!! Very good news for everyone's favorite Roadrunner in the NFL (lol). Once I hear further info, I will be updating this thread like before.

According to Colts fans this is pretty typical... Indy does a lot of shuffling around of personnel to try and find the right fit. Expect more changes one way or the other soon.
