If it has a 26 inside a triangle and chinese script on the left side or the trunion it's a Type 56. those are the best of the best. My SKS is a Type 56 Norinco.

It is Chinese but I don't think it is a Type 56. I like it much more than my Hunter though.

of course you do, the hunter style rifles just arent as cool.
