WR Bryce McNeal is a Cardinal
Quote:"Wide receiver Bryce McNeal reported that he was heading straight from his graduation at Clemson to U of L. Once again, McNeal has two years of eligibility remaining and can play for the Cards this season."

He will be a nice #4 or 5 WR for us behind Parker, Rogers, Charles Gaines & Scott Radicliff...now he might have been a starter @ another BIG EAST school...05-stirthepot

I wasn't trying to do any academic smack talk. I was kidding around because your favorite UCONN poster cannot say the name Bryce McNeal without quickly pointing out how he failed to get into UCONN grad school... No insults intended. 04-cheers

I'm sure you understand you a few more legitimate posts to go before anyone be it UConn, UL, or Arizona State fans will accept your post as not a dig or instigating post. I know you are a smart guy and are well aware of that.

Bottom line is we have a 4th/5th WR on the roster right now to try to make up for the loss of Michaelee Harris.

"UConn passing game" is somewhat of an oxymoron. I wish we had admitted McNeal.

Congrats Cards.

Are you referring to the ASU scout forums? If so, there were PLENTY of Pitt fans that mobbed that board after TG left Pitt before I ever posted over there. I made a few posts a day or two ago on that board, and the majority of the fans there did not think that I was there to cause trouble. I assume that is what you are referring to.

Great get for UL. This was a guy that graduated from an ACC school in three years and was very productive there. And God I hope this thread doesn't devolve into a ****-throwing contest....fortunately, I doubt it does.

News to me.

He had 21 catches for 195 yards receiving in two years, and couldn't crack the two deep in 2010 when we had nobody at WR.

That said from every indication he was a model citizen, and wasn't a negative influence in any way. I hope he succeeds at Louisville.

At this point he is "pennies from heaven" for UL who just lost Harris. I hope he does well for you guys playing outdoors...and sucks indoors.04-cheers

By UConn offense standards, averaging 10 catches for 97.5 yards a year is very productive. 04-cheers I understand that Sammy Watkins and a couple of other guys pushed him out, but your receiver core is considerably better than average.

UPDATE:
Bryce McNeal quit on us....said practice was too intense.....he's off the team. UL Official release of week 1 game notes does not have him on the roster.
http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/lou/...elease.pdf

So let me get this straight, a wimpy ole Big East schools practices were to intense and ran off a former ACC schools player.
