Nick Smith 6'8" 200lb PF/c from Bentonville, AR avg about 20pts and 10reb as a jr. Not really on standard recruiting services. Earned all region and all state honors. Played on an Under 18 national team that played in a tourny in Germany in the spring.

article about USA team

On a side note, Belmont offered a 6'10" kid from Cincinnati (Tyler Hadden). He has offers from Stetson, Bellarmine, and The Citidel.

That was quick. His stats are somewhat unimpressive but it looks like he played behind a Sr. post player. He'll have a couple of years to develop though. It will be interesting to see how he does in his Sr. year.

JR. season stats

It appears we have one more scholarship left.

Nick looks like another one of those "under the radar" catches for Byrd.
