Yeah so correct...they wondering in amazement at the lack of talent needed to sling the ball around in a triple option offense. Georgia Southern...where football is stuck in the 1940's...and so are our heads.

Ah yes because in the years since we have been in Division 1 A...we have never seen the amazement that is the triple option. What kind of tomfoolery is this...they aren't even passing the ball? How many running backs can a team have? I count 37. Is the quarterback in a wheel chair? I would love to see this match up. Not because it would be great football...but because the Harlem Globetrotters haven't been to town in a while, and I need a good laugh.

prob one of our most recent pass plays resulted in a 40yd run for a TD against the vaunted NFL caliber defense of the National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide

Wow, it's hard to actually be taken seriously in a football game and not taken as a bunch of NAIA walk ons who you paid to come in and lose.

By the way...we crossed the 50 yard line...a lot. And we didn't need 37 running backs to do it. We played a game called football, not glorified Rugby at a high school stadium.

No one has ever heard of Ga Southern, deal with it.

Serious question for everyone on this board, without any research please name the last 5 1AA national champions.

We decided a long time ago not to settle for 1AA...seems like Georgia Southern and the triple option...are OK with settling. And they have sex with animals...I've seen it.

You have never heard of Ga Southern? Lol at *********, but here you go

" I'm gonna say it one more time. We are Georgia Southern. Our colors are blue and white. We call ourselves the Bald Eagles. We call our offense the Georgia Power Company...and that's a terrific name for an offense. Our snap count is "rate, hike". We practice on the banks of Beautiful Eagle Creek and that's in Statesboro, Georgia--the gnat capital of America. Our weekends begin on Thursday. The co-eds outnumber the men 3 to 2. They're all good looking and they're all rich. And folks, you just can't beat that...and you just can't beat Georgia Southern. And you ain't seen nothin yet!"

This isn't the right order, but I think it's these 5 maybe.

North Dakota State
Montana
Villanova
Appalachian State
Eastern Washington

Now let me go check and edit this with whether I was right or not.

EDIT: Got only one wrong. Montana hasn't, it was Richmond.

The FCS is a whole subdivision of college football. Yes, there are fans. No, they don't get as much publicity - but they are there and they do average several thousand fans a game (20k+ at some schools). I know this because APSU, TTU, and TSU are right around the corner.

Advertisers and networks are not paying for bowl game rights because there is no fan interest. Some Georgia Southern fans would have you believe the world is flat. They desperately criticize with no supporting facts that which they cannot attain. Its getting nutty. GS fans, just because you want it to be so does not make FCS greater than ANY FBS conference.

Until the triple option takes us all over as the preferred form of entertainment...FCS teams that try to "keep it simple" running that system will stay down. No one wants to see the triple option. It's bad football. There is a reason they went away from using it. So let me guess that Georgia Southern also uses leather helmets, athletic supporters made from whale bone, and their stadium lights use 100% kerosene to teach those coal using bastards a thing or two.
