That is a challenge when we only get offers from SEC/ACC schools, would love a shot at a SBC team, would be a good matchup

Troy has wins over Mississippi State, Oklahoma State,#17 Missouri, Bowling Green, Marshall, Ohio, Rice, UAB, Utah State, Idaho

All of those are from 2000-2011

I think Ga Southern would have a good game with the bottom half of the SBC but I think the top half have too much depth and talent for your level. Most FCS teams under estimate the SBC.

No Hawk, they are just bitter that they were left out of the Sunbelt, because they don't have anything to offer as an FBS program. They hate the SBC because they were passed over for Ga State which has a lot to offer and hasn't even begun to immagine it's potential. But those GSU fans sure are proud of their FCS powerhouse. I guess someone failed to tell them that teams that run the option do it because they can not recruit enough quality athletes to compete week in and week out.

not trolling, well not really, but yes, people do, the fan bases of those teams, other teams in those conferences, other people in FCS, etc...dont be so shortsighted. It is the same as people that care about SB, CUSA and other bottom FBS teams, nobody outside of SB cares who wins the conference or what crappy bowl they go to. We just have to face the fact that really only 15 or so BCS teams matter nationwide, all our programs are 50 years late to the party

Yes, I do knw that it is caled the FCS, but lets be real for a second. The only reason it is now the FCS is because all of the 1AA programs felt 2nd rate and now that this country is stuck on this politically correct bull****.

I also know quite a bit about football having played it at the collegiate level as well as track and field. 6 1AA national championships don't mean squat to the big boys of college football. You talk about the top 15 programs being the only relevant programs in the country, yet that leaves 110 programs ahead of Ga Southern on y'all best day.
