NMSU left out in the cold
As much as I dislike them, I kinda feel bad for them, because they are royally f'd.

MWC said that NMSU and Idaho need to go on to Plan B. ANd I don't think they were talking about the morning-after-pill.

MWC is making a huge mistake. What happens if they lose another team, say to the Big East? Who are they going to take? A NMSU that will be devastated by having no FBS home? A Texas State that may not wish to jump? A Montana that is in disarray? Idaho (see NMSU)? Really dumb move MWC.

Well I guess we could kill two birds with one stone, play a rival and an fcs school all in the same game. Leads me to a question, does anyone know of any FBS school that has a rivalry with an FCS school?

Idaho and Montana until Idaho cancelled the series to pursue more bodybag games...and to avoid getting beaten so much by the Grizzlies. 05-stirthepot

They (MWC) can take NMSU at a later date, its not as if the Aggies are going anywhere. I feel bad for them. I'm just happy we left the WAC when we had the chance.

You guys would almost certainly be in the C-USA or MWC after this round of realignment since you're an established program with a good market and large facilities.
