MAybe we should militarize the border and take over having the longest militarized border in the world! That would be cool. We could kill lots of brown people trying to get across. 02-13-banana

Why don't we just place pontoon bridges across the Rio Grande at quarter-mile intervals and leave them unguarded? That's what Obama would prefer, although he can't admit to it.

That's the funny thing about being liberal ... you really can't say what's in your heart because the American people would reject it in a New York minute. That's why liberals run for office as conservatives (you never see conservatives run for office as liberals).

Speaking as a Classical Liberal.....That would be fine with me. We need these people for their labor. Of course, I would not allow them any benefits from the US taxpayer. Under that paradigm...I say give them a green card at the pontoon and point them to the jobs. Mexico is a sh!thole. I understand why they come here and welcome them.05-stirthepot

I am pretty far right on the spectrum. However, I love immigrants that WORK in our country. Just want them paying taxes and supporting the infrastructure from which they benefit. I'd trade 4 occupy wall-streeters for one hard working Mexican who pays the same taxes as citizens. Immigration reform is needed, but my beef is with the entitled, and that resides on the left of American politics, not those that work their asses off for a fair wage and get things done.

I agree. We need to make a way for these people to become proud Americans instead of forcing them to be displaced Mexicans. What we are doing now doesn't help us or them.

Stop giving non citizen the benefits of citizenship. Allow people to travel and work on a green card. They may apply for citizenship after a set period. Another thing....The Constitution need to clarified in regard to citizenship...especially birth in the US. Just because you travel across the border and drop out a bundle...does not make that child a citizen.

Stop your corporations from hiring them and they won't come here looking for a job.

I guess if someone invents a "transporter" we may need to worry.

I actually just watched this film last night (first time), and it seemed like they were taking initial supplies from the residents since the store shelves was swept clean. Additionally, the 15 pilot that got shot down shows that the skies were contested plus the heavy vehicles show some sort of supply line (sky or gulf).

Wrong...Evidently you fail to understand just how sh!tty Mexico is. These people come here to provide for their families.

Thanks for letting us know just how heartless you really are and yet you preach constantly about your adversaries on the right as being heartless. Damn hypocrite.03-banghead

Can you imagine how hard it would be invade the US from the sea? 03-lmfao

I could possibly see a supply line through S. America into Mexico...but..that would be very tough because of the infrastructure required to bring in heavy equipment. The roads would be almost impossible to travel.

Red Dawn was fun. I loved it and goofed on it all the way. It did bring out the REAL reason we will never be taken. We are armed. Guerrilla warfare would eventually drive out any invader. We are simply too large to take over. The amount of troops, hardware and MONEY it would take to undergo such an invasion would be astronomical.
