I totally don't agree with it. Xavier wasn't ranked all year, and they have a good what, 3 weeks, and all of a sudden they jump??? I don't think so. Look at their losses and how many teams have a better percentage. Yes, they have one more win than we do, but look how many more losses they have. Same for georgia tech. Great run in the tourney, I'm not gonna take that away from them, but on an overall season, how can you say a 28-10 is better than a 30-2 or a 31-4?? Congrats to those teams that made runs in march, when it was do or die, but more congrats to the teams that won for months on end, as opposed to the span of a few weeks.

Polls are always based on a "what have you done for me now" idea. They nearly never take into account the entire season, just recent success.
I'll assume St Joe's is #5
