Penn State legal problems
Penn State University is now facing legal problems after the Sandusky trial and conviction. The university is not only facing sanctions from the NCAA possibly leading to the death penalty for the football program, but also civil lawsuits from the many Sandusky victims. Only time will tell.

RE: Penn State legal problems
That article made one point I hadn't considered. Penn State could avoid the death penalty and receive a lighter punishment (I use the word "lighter" loosely because it would still be one of the harshest punishments ever) by cooperating with the NCAA fully. I still think their football program should be set back more than a decade, though . . . pull them off TV, keep them out of bowls, cut scholarships right and left, enable student-athletes to easily transfer to other schools, etc.
