I am finally excited about the vastly improved football teams we will be seeing in the Big East. Memphis has had some bad teams, but another big thing was our fan base just couldn't get excited for most of the CUSA teams, especially being surrounded by SEC teams. Good day for the Big East.

Ouch, looks like Ruston took it in every hole over on the realignment board earlier today for deciding to play Blazr for the last month and getting it all completely wrong.

I hate to see anybody get beat up, but he kinda deserved it. He seemed to let his wishes for Boise to remain in the MWC turn into "inside info" that was wrong. And he said a few things last night that, based on media reports, seemed incorrect, as if he embellished a bit.

I don't understand this insatiable need certain posters have to portray themselves as insiders. It's becoming a pretty long list. Blazr was one everyone knew about, WVU board people had The Dude, there was/is a certain prominent Louisville poster, and now Ruston.... Lesson One I learned in Washington was that if you're trying THAT hard to show people how connected you are, then you're not connected. And if you're playing that game on a message board, you're 1. a complete loser, and 2. going to have a bullseye on your back for relentless mockery in about three months when your own story inevitably blows up in your face.
