RE: Let the trades begin
I got a sneaky feeling we are eventually going to try and trade Zbo. Especially if we resign both Arthur and Speights.

Trade him for what, another PF, a SG, both? There's no way that they would get any value for him.

Oh we won't get any value at all, it will be at the end of next season so we can stay under the cap. They got one more year with this so called "core". They just can't keep both Zbo and Rudy. And we all know Rudy is their favorite.

Rudy is the better player and will only get better with a lot of career left. Zbo, while being a great player has some question marks about his knee and age. Luckily for Zbo, he doesn't get off the floor very much , so his knee won't take near the abuse and he may still have several productive years ahead. LOL
btw, Grizz have agreed to match qualifying offers on Speights and Arthur. Take it FWIW.

I don't think Rudy is going to get any better. What you see is what you get. He averages what 19 a game? Do you really see him being a 25-28 a game scorer? I just don't think he's got the killer in him to do that although he certainly has the talent.

A lot of his "lack of killer instinct" has to do with Hollins system, or lack thereof. And, a PG that doesn't create opportunities (again, because of the lack of a system that works to the team's strengths, IMHO)

They have? I haven't seen or heard that anywhere. I thought it was more likely that they would retain one of them, not both.

I won't argue with you there. Hollins is not much of an X and O man. I think his offense hinders shooters. The spacing is terrible. The only open looks they get regularly is with Speights or Arthur from the elbow.

Ummmm NO! Lol At least Lionel seems to get guys to play hard. I just wish he'd tweak his offense a little and make adjustments better. Fratello was horrible. Even Battier hated him.

I really don't think he has enough value to trade him. I would think just ride him out this year and if not back to all star form amnesty him, and clear cap space for next offseason.
