RE: Frank's Way? Or the Vandy Basketball weight workk-out?
The main questions about will barton was his strength, whether his thin frame could withstand a nba season, and maturity (didn't really hear this much but it was mentioned some).

Of all the athletic tests at the nba combine, the bench press is the best one to show some strength, imo. Now if the u of m doesn't make it's athletes bench press, then that's fine. Ultimately, it does fall on will barton to be prepared, especially since he left a year earlier than he probably should have. He should have been ready. Not saying that makes him a first rounder, but it had to increase his chances some.

Transitt....... i hope there are no hard feelings. Just a difference of opinion, that's all.

There are two questions i'd like to ask if transitt or anyone else if they know the answers. How much weight did will barton gain in two years at memphis? It's been rumored that will barton didn't want to add weight to his frame, is that true?

I honestly don't know if he gained weight or if he thought he didn't need to. Remember though that there are ALWAYS people in these kids' ears. Some, like Adonis, generally have smart people giving them good advice. Others don't get the best advice. Believe it or not, some coaches are still 'old school' and think basketball players shouldn't lift as it will 'throw off their shot'. Larry Finch had that mindset.
