Speaking of "crack" - you need to lay off the pipe, dude.
Answer my questions then?
1) Which MAC school has the most wins since 2006?
2) Which MAC school has the most division titles since 2006?
3) Which MAC school has the highest paid football coach?
The answer to your questions comes out OHIO. Its time to realize Ohio is a top tier MAC program in performance, attendance and budget. We aren't on the level of Akron and Kent State anymore.
Since 2006 OU FB is:
7-8 against the MAC West
0-4 MACC
1-3 Bowl Games
0-2 against Toledo
Yes agreed Ohio has some room for growth yet in the MAC.
Certainly though we stack up well with NIU and Toledo from the standpoint of attendance, budgets and overall performance.

...but YOU were talking about Rutgers, Penn State, Texas, LSU.
Also - how does Fighting Frankies stack up "well" with NIU or Toledo since they have yet to win MACC game in four tries?

RE: Akron gets Iowa St for a 1-1 2018/2019
beat rutgers and penn st first. then, amp it up.
sorry, mac teams arent't going to the 4 team playoff. even a great mac team ala the undefeated marshall w chad pennington, 12-1 miami w big ben, 10-1 toledo that crushed penn st, etc... wouldn't get a playoff or likely even a lesser bcs game. the mac would be smart to fight for an opportunity for its particularly distinguished teams that come along every few years to get bumped up to a major bowl like the cotton, outback, peach, etc... that would be high profile and guarantee a shot at a 3rd place sec or big 10 type team.
the lsu's of the world have massive budgets and get 12-15 blue chip recruits each class. the mid level bcs program (i.e. iowa, cincy, arizona, mississippi, etc...) get at least 3-4 blue chip kids each class. the entire mac signs 3-4 blue chip recruits as frosh or transfers each yr and most of those are from the randy moss, tank sturdivant mold who have some issues and may not see much of the field.
i think the league goal should be to be competitive top to bottom, outperform the lower level d1 peers, be able to more routinely challenge good (not necessarily great) teams nationally, and have our top teams get real chances at home, neutral and bowl games against solid name comp. oh yeah, and get a tv deal that either pays us well or lets us play a maximum of 1 midweek home game per school with that guaranteed as a national telecast.

We were up on NIU 20-0 in the 3rd so I would say we at least competed with NIU in the MACC. Its not like we rolled over and played dead in it we lost on a last second field goal.
The first couple times when we played CMU in the MACC we were challenged to stay on the field. The depth just wasn't there yet in 2006. Ohio is a lot more athletic now.
You misread my comments. I said I wanted to PLAY Texas and LSU to give the program more of a chance on the national scene. That is all.

No, YOU said, and I quote:

Listen, Whisker Face, being a "serious candidate for the playoff" is a big leap from having "more of a chance on the national scene."
So, no, not even close to being "the same thing stated in different words."
Must be that hilljack Ohio U. edumacation at work.
Admit you got carried away and shot your big puzzy mouth off, tried to backtrack and got called on it, and move on.

You're just a dumm@@@
You argued that BYU has had more of impact on the sport of college football than Notre Dame on a previous thread. That was retarded.
Thus far its been nothing but stupid from you.

Unlike from you Ohio U. should schedule Texas and/or LSU so the Bobkitties have a shot at making the playoffs - as if?
