Bad News for ODU Alum Dan Hudson
He tore his UCL in his pitching arm and will need Tommy John surgery and will be out for most likely a year.

Bummer for him and the Arizona Diamondbacks. He's my second favorite Monarch pitcher behind you know who.

Get well soon Dan!

I saw this yesterday after I noticed he had another bad outing and figured he must be injured. Let's hope that he will be like many TJ surgery patients where he comes back even stronger.

I'll keep a good thought for him. Never like to see any player get injured, but especially something like this. I remember when Strausburg (Nationals Pitcher)blew his arm out a couple of seasons back, but he's returned like you theorized here, in rare form.
