I hear that your football team is going independent and you are going to announce your plans for the Bronco Network similar to longhorn network.

I can't imagine BSU thinks the MWC or a MWC/CUSA merger will help them get into this playoff anymore than the nBE will... With SOS being a factor, you have to imagine the nBE's SOS would be better than their other options.

Not to mention the difference in $$$ from TV contracts.

I really think this is 100% about where our Olympic sports will land. If we had a stable conference for them, we would have withdrawn a while ago.

I cant imagine them taking a 5 million dollar hit just to delay the decision a few months. My guess is they jump and end up in either the Big West, WAC, or Summit. The truth is, they could let thier olympic sports go independent for a while if they need more time to sort things out. Apparantly some of them already are independent and a few are in the Pac 12. So, being independent in olympics for a short temporary period may not be all that unthinkable. The reality is, in the independent option they could schedule a ton of games against the current WAC teams and wouldnt have to pay an entry fee without knowing if it would be a viable conference. They could spend this period working wth the WAC to rebuild or investigating other options.

The shame of it is that a small number of activist gnomes can change my entire perception from rooting for a program like USM and being angry about their fate to not really caring about them one way or another.
