Presenting the five greatest documents in American history:

1. The Declaration of Independence.

2. The United States Constitution.

3. The Bill of Rights.

4. The 14th Amendment.

5. The just-announced college football playoff agreement.

I know what you're thinking: This is ridiculous. Why is the new 12-year playoff agreement ranked so low?

And you're right, of course. Sure, the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness thing is nice enough, but only the new agreement guarantees a four-team seeded playoff.

This is a momentous day in the history of college football. And thanks to Tuesday's final ratifying vote by the BCS Presidential Oversight Committee, a manageable, logical and lonnnnnnnng-overdue playoff system makes the traveling squad in 2014.

I say this is total BS!!!!

This is not a playoff rather it's a ripoff. There is even less access then before because the teams who will be in the tournament will be selected behind closed doors and even though we may not agree with rankings, we can at least see where they are headed.

Mark my words here; The only teams with access to the new playoff system are teams from the SEC, B1G, PAC and Big XII. If you are not one of them then there is many ways they can disqualify you form their exclusive group.

1) Strength of Schedule. IE., you didn't play enough of them to merit consideration.
2) Ranking, see Item #1.
3) Historical Significance. (Your team isn't old enough or has enough tradition to be worthy of admittance.)
4) You won't bring enough money or ratings to the table.

Oh I could go on. 03-puke
