I watched some video of that kid. There was literally not one defender that could match up with the guy. It was like he hardly had to try. The goal line situations were funny to watch. He would just stand up and walk the defenders back into the end zone.
You never know about how guys like this do at the next level. It will be fun to watch how he does.

Haha you're right, nobody could match up with him. Being familiar with HS football in the triad, it's pretty good competition, so I'm hopeful. He had some good offers, too. We'll see how it translates because you're right, FBS football is a different animal altogether. I'm sure our S&C coach will trim 20lbs off him the first summer.

All three of Marshall's commits are O-Line. The 1st 3 classes had a lot of skill players in it. As of right now it looks like DOC is trying to get the O-Line with even more depth.

More than any other program in CUSA, I want Tulane to be good. Or at least decent.
Not too good though, of course.

I feel like this is going to be a big recruiting year for Tech. So far it appears we are going for depth on both lines which is always a good thing. Dykes has been a good recruiter so far at Tech but I fully expect this to be his landmark year of bringing in talent.

Agreed. I have a good feeling about this upcoming class. I think the good season we had last year, CUSA, and the great season I expect this year will make a huge difference.

Not fooling me.
You guys are just scared to see that list of multiple 5 star players that we've signed. :)

Tulane added 2 more verbals tonight. 1 is a 4-star ESPN top 300 player.

RE: 2013 C-USA Football Recruiting
It's interesting if you look at Old Dominion's 4 commits so far......1 from Rochester, New York.....2 from Maryland, 1 from Ahoskie, North Carolina....
seems to contradict what some folks on here (I won't mention names (and other ECU message boards as well) said would happen by joining C-USA.......

Tulane is going to probably be done with their recruiting class before summer is over at the rate they are going
Sure does seem that way...12 and counting...

RE: 2013 C-USA Football Recruiting
We are starting to finally get to the point where we won't have to rely on freshman. Unless we get some big time recruit then I don't care if I ever see a recruit between signing day and the start of the RS sophomore year. By then we should need them and they should be developed enough to contribute in a big way whether they are linemen, QB, skill position, or defense.
