TSA said no to 100ml, then easyJet suddenly forgot all the prior permission.

The TSA is a US Government entity. This occurred in a UK airport, with UK Airline security, regulated by a UK government.

I could easily see it happening here though. Have you heard the story about the MOH recipient who was told they must confiscate, and DESTROY the pointy object. They were able to reach a solution eventually...but it's just ridiculous.
