This is exactly what I am worried about. We need a head coach who won't let our players fall into this garbage.

Honestly, if we win against Ohio State, I will be on 'coog' alert when we play Marshall and Memphis.

Predictions mean nothing. It is what is done on the field that counts.

FWIW - Phil also has FSU as his #1, and also had them last year. It's nice to see the publicity, though. I hope UCF can make it a reality.

Oh, and in before precisely what I said, happens.

I think UCF fans are in a more "show me" state of mind when comes to big expectations from our team. We've been promised the world before only to be shown up by teams that were supposedly not on an equal playing field. It's part of being a UCF fan.

Hope UCF is good (UH, SMU, Memphis etc too)

I'm excited because I have a whole new group of schools to root for now...(I know you are not in BE yet, but I'm pulling for you this upcoming season none the less).

We'll come back and visit after the season and talk about this prediction.

SMU might have something to say about that. Of course, that depends on if Gilbert picks up the offense quickly and if the Hawaiian Zombie doesn't throw the second half of the season because he already has one foot out the door like what happened last year.

Texas Football Magazine is picking SMU v. ECU in the CUSA Championship Game, but I believe it could be any of three out of East and West, the usual suspects. UCF, ECU, USM v SMU, UH, and Tulsa. Of these Houston should win the most games due to cupcake schedule.

do you ever see a scenario where the Big East would add a team that doesn't have a large TV market? specifically, Phil Steele has Ohio listed as a top 6 non AQ school and owned Temple in conference play. Their bball team made the sweet 16 with a win over USF this year and beat Gtown in the first round 2 years ago. BUT, Athens, OH has much fewer TV sets than Philly, PA.

not trying to pimp a school or knock another one, just curious as to a point of view from the inside. thanks.
