are "O.K." with the addition of UofL, just curious? Seems WV and Pitt are only fans not bashing our program!
P.S. How many read the topic and thought this was a light bulb joke? Just kidding! Go Big East!

I think that some of the other teams in the Big East do not know what U of L can bring to the table. I for one can't wait for U of L to be on the WVU schedule again. I lived near L'ville for a year (E-town) and enjoyed watching U of L games on the tube.

I am all for how the BEAST expanded in football. I am not entirely crazy about this gigantic 16 team league for other sports, but I am looking forward to 2005!

Truth be told, I wish that the whole ACC raid had never happened. The Big East was just beginning to get fun. We had the best bowl record over the past 3 seasons, not last year though, and had Miami, VT, and Pitt all ranked in the preseason top 15.
But after what happened last spring, I am excited to see how Louisville, Cincy, and UConn can help the Big East progress. I would rather play Louisville every year than BC, because it is a better rivalry.

I love the addition of Louisville...y'all should have been in BE football from the start...don't worry to much about what the fans from the teams up North say....I don't think they like any school that isn't in NY, NJ or New England

Thanks for the post guys! I honestly think we will surprise some of the naysayers. I dont think we will let you guys down in the Big East either, but then again I dont know which unversity is going to fly into southern Indiana in the middle of the night and try and steal our coach next time. UofL has a awesome AD (Jurich) which I think you will notice after a few seasons in the Big East and honestly as long as no one steals him we should be alright in both BBall and the girdiron. Good Luck this year WV, we ( The Big East) all need for you to do well and I think you will. Go Big East!

Yes Herd fan, WVU lost the past 2 bowls. But overall the BEAST had a great bowl record over 2001, 2002, 2003.
