RE: Rodger Clements - NOT GULITY
Who cares?
We obviously have no real problems if Congress feels it is appropriate to waste taxpayer $$ policing the 'integrity of baseball.'
My takeaway - Holder said, when questioned about these hearings and why bother that it was important because.........."he LIED to Congress!"
Hypocrisy doesn't exist in Holder's mind, I guess, seeing as to how Holder lied to them too, in his F & F testimony.

Bad month for DOJ in Celebrity Trials.
And you know the Classified Leak Investigation will disappear after Romney wins

Of course he did, but the prosecution witnesses suddenly got fuzzy about their testimonies since everyone knew there was no worthwhile reason to send Clemens to jail. This does, however, work nicely in your right-wing fringe conspiracy theory taking points.

What conspiracy?
And be advised that the right wing fringe does not start just to the right of Chairman Mao.
As for the prosecution witnesses, they were always pretty fuzzy, it wasn't something that suddenly happened.

No one ever heard Clemens refer to whites as "his people."

Again, you are totally clueless, Nostradumbass. This is the 2nd bite the DOJ has had. The judge declared a mistrial because of the DOJ's incompetence. Now the jury declares the DOJ incompetent.

this is a nice microcosm of why people should vote for smaller government. The bigger the goverment, the more money it wastes on things like this.

One other factor: McNamee was a Federal Informant on several steroids investigations since 2006--something that he failed to mention to Congress when he made his accusations against Clemens. He got caught peddling and turned Rat.
Look at the charges: Clemens "lied" about his attendance at Jose Conseco' s BBQ.
Total BS.
IMO Roger Clemens is guilty of being a total obnoxious, arrogant, smelly ball-sack. But you can't throw him in the Federal Pen for that

I distinctly remember John McCain and Lord "W" starting this steroid baseball witch hunt. Funny how that dynamic has been forgotten.
