Hope he stays committed to us even after we potentially get a new coaching staff. I think he is quite a get for us, I had no idea he was also a legitimate punter. With his numbers to have a guy play QB for us like that would be awesome.

Lincoln-Way East, Champions are born here... that school, my Alma mater, is pushing out kids left and right to D1 schools. NIU just hit a major come up this season in recruiting. We have Tom Fuessel coming and best believe, he's bringing friends with. I just got done texting one of the kids I went to school with and he said him (Jordan Daniels) and Justin Corbett also plan on going to NIU (not sure if NIU offered them scholarships yet, but he basically told me they plan on playing ball there). I also got my boy J.J. Robertson interested (he would've been playing at U of I right now, but after the whole coaching change up, he had a change of heart and has basically not played and was cut by the team, so he's definitely trying to go to NIU which was a school that recruited him). J.J. would be a MAJOR pickup and would be Fuessel's primary target by time he got around to starting. I know this is for official commits, but I'm telling you guys, if NIU pulls this off, they'll have the pick of the liter coming out of that school every year from now on.

I still remember when that kid was a freshman and punked him in the hallway, haha, i knew he'd be a beast one day.
Fuessel is 6'3 and runs in the 4.3's. I have no idea what we truly plan to do with him, but you have a lot of options with a kid like that. As for him bringing friends, the more the merrier.
Draco Smith and Mt. Carmel still alive as well. Would love to see LWE, AC, and MT. Carmel all win this weekend so I could watch them play on tv next weekend.
New senior year highlights for LB commit Robert Jones. This kid is super athletic and has some speed. Great tackler and knifes thru the line really well. Im much more excited about him after watching the video. Hope we can hang on to him. The fact that he is still putting highlight videos out after committing to us in the summer makes me think he is still looking for bigger offers.

Congrats to Aurora Christian, Mt. Carmel, and Lincoln Way East. You'll be able to see many of our verbals from next years recruiting class on TV this weekend playing for state titles! Just hope they stay with us.
