Winter 2010-2011, barely a year out and one of the coldest on record already forgotten....

Extreme change is cyclical, not just in one direction. Winters are colder, summers are hotter, and the weather is simply more extreme. That's one thought, of course, a cyclical one but a theory nonetheless.

The cons are more than happy to doom their children and grandchildren to living their lives in a degraded environment if it means saving a few bucks today. Many scientists are coming to the conclusion that it is already too late to stop global warming from having a significant impacts. Future generations are going to look back and curse us for what we didn't do.

OD... that's completely idiotic. If you were a climatologist, there is unlimited funding available from corporate sources if you can produce evidence casting doubt on global warming science. Plus, anyone who could disprove the science would be hailed as a savior by massive portions of the world population and would be a scientific celebrity for the rest of their lives.
