Good natured ribbing is a part of any athletic message board. However, some of the viral comments from some UNT guys and LeMan are surprising from new members.....especially when directed towards USM, who could arguably have the best football program in C-USA, MAC, SBC or WAC (ex Boise).

Now, multiple threads have been required to be moved to the smack board. It's a weird way to act.

USM came in and waged war on virtually every new member of CUSA. (Mainly UNT and LaTech) and we are simply defending ourselves and retaliating. If somebody calls your $80 million stadium "Division II garbage" and parade around like they're actually relevant, of course we're going to put them back in their place.

You guys can post however and whatever you choose.

However, you're coming off as not having an ability to be civil or respectful and not having a knowledge of college athletics by not having any knowledge of USM's decades of strong performances in football.

Have fun, but you're only tainting your own credibility in the process.

C-USA is a great conference and this board has really good posters if you let yourselves enjoy your stay.

Nobody's doubting C-USA. We're just defending ourselves. This upcoming season is going to be intense when the rest of the fans return to the boards.

My suggestion for all new members, grow thicker skin. NO offense but UNT fans seem to be especially sensitive.

Yes, or at least respond in a more civil manner.

The thread that started all of this was merely an observation of a couple of stadiums by a long-time trusted poster and an over reaction to that thread. After a couple of barrels of gasoline being thrown on the flames.....here we are.

If I responded in a like manner to every Memphis football comment made by the other 11 members of C-USA, you guys would be ready to throw me under the bus and the feeling would probably be deserved.

Common sense goes a long way towards credibility and/or respect on any message board.

...just one average fan's opinion.
