All he's saying is when we go around making a big deal out of athletes making a B average, it's pretty much saying that you didn't expect them to do so.

Yes, these kids have major time commitments that not all students have, but there are also regular students who have much larger time commitments. Furthermore at most schools, these kids have way more resources on their side in the way of tutors, academic centers, etc. Not only that, they have people practically babysitting them to make sure they're going to class and doing their homework.

I do think it reflects well on your program when your athletes make the grades, but again, I get what he was saying.

I understood his comments as a working student. I didn’t appreciate his hateful and twisted comments concerning a person that cannot defend themselves here on this board. I think it speaks for itself.

Changing the subject, could you give me some input on signatures…..best way to set them up, size, etc;

Thanks in advance.

Just curious...

How many of the exchanges between myself and CajunT did you read?

Paul if that is your name, I have no interest in going back through threads to find exchanges between you and CajunT. I've known CajunT, Zee, VO, Crawfish, CajunExpress, BOP and a few others for years. I've stayed away from this site in the past because of what I've heard and recently decided to give it a try anyway. I noticed Zee had several new post today and decided to read the topic. It didn't take long to read your post and comments about CajunT, a person that I consider a personal friend. Your comments were both perverted and cowardly, considering that he has no way of responding to your insults on this board. I know Cajun Red to be a really decent person and in no way confrontational, yet you went after him. While I’m sure CajunT was more than willing to exchange insults in the past, your reputation on this board precedes you. When it comes to the confrontations that happen between you and CajunT, I see no victims with the main difference being you are still allowed here and he is not. I have no interest in having dialogue with you because of my friendship with him; I’m here to talk Cajuns and Sun Belt Sports.

I'd like to address this right now.

CajunT did everything in his power to get himself banned, he pretty much admitted to as much on a Cajun board. CajunT and POT had some pretty heated exchanges, but neither one of them would have gotten banned just based off of that. It was not until T decided he should martyr himself to try and make it look like we mods had it out against Cajun fans and this is simply not the case.

I have no problem with you choosing not interact with someone who insults a friend of yours, but I do have a problem with you suggesting that we played favorites in who was banned. They were both warned several times for their offenses, Paul of Troy decided he wanted to stick around and T decided he wanted to force our hand. Also you'll notice that Paul of Troy received a warning for his recent comments about CajunT.

I understand the guy is your friend, but again, he wanted to be banned and we actually held back because we didn't want him to be able to martyr himself, but eventually our hands were forced.

MTPiKapp, I didn't come here to debate what CajunT did or did not do while he was a member of this board. I simply pointed to the reality of it, Paul is still posting on this board. I mentioned a number of Cajun fans and shared discussions with them on what happened on this board. I'm not not interested in discussing moderation of this board as well. I've read the rules and understand them completely. For the record, I will determine for myself how fairly Cajun fans are treated on this board. Outside of this thread, I see no problems in my visits today. So I will return to the regular folder and I'm done with this thread.

Thanks for the feedback.

CrazyCajun, thanks for joining us here at sunbeltbbs. You'll see we haven't had many problems since CajunT was banned which has been several, several, months. CajunT was not the sole problem, but his leaving did help to alleviate the issues we had here, and yes they were quite severe for a while.

It has really been a great place to post over the last few months, I can't think of many issues we've had here. Maybe that's just the offseason? Who knows. Glad you're here, the more the merrier.

The only person "jumping him" was PoT and he received a warning for doing so. He can't defend himself, because he wanted to be banned.

Awww, someone's in love.

Let's please stop acting as if what happened to CajunT wasn't his own damn fault. Notice, the only people who support him are from the ULL group. I haven't read what was said on any other board about me but I'm sure it is just lovely. I'm also quite sure you probably said the worst of it zee; all of which surely isn't hypocritical.

We both were told to either stop or be banned. I decided to quit. He decided to be banned. I didn't ban him and no one forced him to react like a six year old with menopause. However, everyone did see it coming from a mile away and sure enough, as if on queue, he shined bright. Anyone who would have acted that way would have been banned.

If you want to start crying about the mean and bad words I use and claim basis for banning me, then why don't we go ahead and ban half the damn board. You would be banned too.

Otherwise, grow some damn skin and get over it. Stop getting your panties all in a wad because someone told the truth about your friend. I know I'm an as*hole and I really couldn't care less what you think about it.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS ZEE!!!!!!!!! HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO ZEE!!!!! HAPPY HANUKKAH ZEE!!!!!

I do dissagree totally with you. I have for many years watched these young football players after they finish a practice. No way does the average student exist in the expened energy universe that they do. Now that translates into actually doing the academic side when you are dead tired. Frankly I am stunned any of them complete the semester.

Do they get tutors, ya bet they do, and earn every one of them. On the other hand 20 hours of practice, very hard engergy sapping practice. Not something ULM general student body engages in.

In almost every public university the atheletes outperform the student general population in every academic level. So pissed of boy from Troy will not be getting me to kiss his ass because he is wiping down tables at "Wild Wings" while his athletes are being watched on screen. Seems like he is a little jealous.
