I'm hoping it moves a little more east in 2015. But I also hope that the TV isn't as bad as it was for the CAA games.

Never been to either city. Would like to try to make both just for the experience, pending how finances look at the time.

My lady wants to take me to San Antonio. But thats over 500 miles from UTEP and Tulsa. Probably won't happen these years.

Note: 2013 tournament would be for this coming season. (AKA: we won't be playing in Tulsa)

Too bad we wont be playing in Tulsa, I got family near there so I'd be able see them and watch basketball.

The only way I'm going to the El Paso tourney is if I get to go with the pep band.

If nothing changes in 2014, the quarterfinals and semi-finals will be televised on CBS Sports Network and the Championship game on CBS.

Birmingham and Charlotte are our best bets for eastern hosts, but I see Charlotte hosting before Birmingham.

Are there options around Norfolk if y'all wanted to host?

Our arena can seat just under 8500 and is NCAA women's regional host.

There is an older, 2nd arena downtown that can supposedly seat 10K for basketball and will be hosting the MEAC championships for the next three years (through 2015).

Poor Scope, the city needs to tear that place down and build a more modern arena for the city.

When was the last time you've been to Scope? It has been upgraded immensely with a new million dollar scoreboard, two other giant Videoboards and new seating all over.

It's a far better arena than the Richmond Coliseum, but then again, that isn't really saying that much.

The Scope could absolutely host the CUSA basketball tourney though.

Considering the entire CUSA tournament is during the week, I think the Ted will suffice. Apparently, nobody travels to this tournament.

The scope is good now. The upgrades they put in really made the place look nice.

The Ted would absolutely be sold out for each night of that.

I haven't been to Scope in years but I was commenting more of the size. Most areas the size of ours have newer arenas twice the size of Scope.

Scope holds around 10,500-11,000. I think for boxing it close to 12,200.

Maybe for the games ODU is in, but otherwise I doubt it.

With the remodel for Hockey, Scope lost BB seating. It was never that close to 11,000 to begin with.

Basketball seating would likely be south of 10K now.
