Scholarships are for the year so once he started the season on scholarship, they couldn't yank it from him anyway unless he violated some sort of university policy and got kicked out of school.

some good points were made by the original poster. i do not really care that josh "lied" or "kept things in house", what bothers me more is the double standard some here have when it comes to dealing with Cal as compared to Josh. they are way more similar than many here would like to admit.

Which was my point with the original post.

Only difference in the two is one is good at his job, the other.....

i am not 100 % with you on this. the jury is still out on Pastner. I think we will know more after this next season.

I dont think the intention of this post was to really bash pastner so to speak, but more so to call out all the people who think pastner

b) is mr "honest abe" who would never tell a lie, and is just too good a person to do so.

pastner lied in this situation, and i really dont blame him. but for all you people who think he is squeeky clean, you should probably remove your head from the sand. it's college basketball.....and its a dirty game. josh is included in that, along with any other relevant basketball program.
