Everyone recognizes that UofL and UConn also didn't get a game - that's just the way it is. I think Pitt was upset because they were PROMISED a home game. As for 'Cuse, they just don't have any open slots... not sure if/why they thought they wouldn't get one of these games, though.

As a Hokie fan I bear no ill will toward the Big East - just treat our 2 future members fairly is all I'd ask.

Do you 100% know Pitt was PROMISED a game or not. There's always two sides to a story and it's highly doubtful we'll get the other side to it.

The whole thing is petty for both sides. Every little thing from now till next year will be looked at under a microscope. Syracuse or Pitt gets slighted in a game or something and they'll complain to the media about BE being vindictive and vice versa. You'd think cooler heads prevail but I guess that won't be the case.

Except this is a case where we wouldn't have minded that we were kicked out, but the jilted wife is using the kids to cling to us until she has time to move her new beau in.

You have to look at it like this, what if St. Johns Admin was under the impression that they was going to be included in the BE/SEC challenge and out the blue was left out. Then you learn that the SEC contacted the BE to make it a 14 team challenge rather than an 12 team challenge. I'm pretty sure that St. Johns Admin and fans be a little pissed off as well. It is what it is with me. Sooner all of this is over w/ the better, so that we all can move on.

Mommy they are saying bad things about us...damn right Cuse helps SDSU by delivering a national name opponent to play in their city....sure Cuse gets visibility but they have more to lose over a loss than SDSU.
