SEC has "Officially Drawn line in sand" SEC Prezs vote unanimously on Top 4 teams...
From the ESPN.com article:

The Southeastern Conference took an official stance on a proposed four-team playoff Friday when school presidents and athletic directors voted unanimously to support having the four best teams play for the national title.

I really don't have a problem with the four best teams playing for the title. I will most likely have a problem with how those teams are selected.

Same here. Seems to me we SHOULD have the 4 best teams, as opposed to some artificially rigged deal to better ensure that the B1G and B12 and P12 get a ticket, too.

Problem is, there is no truly fair way to determine the top 4, either by computer or human.

That is an argument for widening the playoff to more teams. More money to pass around, too, w/o the bowls getting a cut. Of course, that is not the objective of the biggest, richest conferences.

Good thing the SEC only gets one vote.

Hopefully, the others will band together and implement the "3 + a wild card" system. A team that didn't win their conference shouldn't be guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.
