Yes I do. I'm with republic wireless, and I just upgraded my phone from moto x to moto x 2nd gen.

RE: Tech Support Thread
I first used the moto migrate app, which does a great job. Used it before for other phones. But this time the music didn't transfer. So I tried to sync from computer to phone using a wire. Won't work.

Googled, and looks to be a common problem after some update, regardless of your carrier.

You probably just have to manually copy the music from your computer to the phone, just find the music folder on the new phone and drag and drop the songs that you want there. A couple of minutes of transferring and you should be all set.

Another option, since you have unlimited data, would be to upload your library to google music. Only downside to this is you need to have a data/internet connection to listen to it.

This is personally what i do (I also pay the $10/mo to access everything else in the gMusic library, similar to what Spotify is)

I tried that, which is the method I have used many times with many phones. Apparently the new processor, or the latest updates, prevent this from working. I think is is a copyright protection thing, but not sure. The methods I found while googling either don't work, or I'm not smart enough to figure out (most likely). I'm getting pissed off.

I thought I tried this unsuccessfully, but will try again. Seems no matter what I do the "play music" app stays on its introduction screen.

Can you get it to even start the transfer via USB?? You could try AirDroid, I've heard good things about it. Supposed to make managing files on your phone much easier and can bypass some of the driver issues people sometimes have, never actually used it myself.
