That nutcase from Alabama gave a full release to a 4-star, two-year starter at Colorado St so he could transfer to NC State. Lord knows we've had our troubles with that thieving bunch over the years. This place would have to be shut down if something like that happened to the Tigers. Thomas was also considering Vandy or going back home to UCLA.

I'm convinced you, b, and any other "fan" that has duel loyalties should start your own message board.

I haven't been paying attention since serious matters on the board tend to be few and far between. What did I miss ?

Wonder if that full release was with full knowledge he wouldn't transfer to either Colorado or a fellow MWC school? That being said, I didn't see where the article pointed out the transfer terms.

Yep. I heard that Larry Porter denied unrestricted transfers to 50 players over two years. That's two full signing classes. Gotta be a record in the history of college football. (even in the 50's and 60's when schools signed over 100 players a year to cover the runoffs.)

Calling a coach by his first name, like Coach Justin or Coach Josh, seems like an inconspicuous sign of disrespect OR an indication that you are under 12 years of age. I guarantee you Alabama fans don't refer to their coach as Coach Nick. If he heard that, he'd probably slap the $hi% out of them. Actually, he'd probably slap the $hi% out of them regardless. Seems like a mean dude.

As soon as they announced Coach Larry as the RBs coach at Arizona State, I heard the entire team requested transfers. Even the kicker.

Larry was simply not ready to be a HC and RC should have never put him in a position of guaranteed failure. Justin Fuente is now our coach, so let's move on.

It is unreal.

I just don't get why he thinks Porter shouldn't have been canned, after the first couple of games. It was blatantly obvious

The question is how old are YOU? Anyone of a mature age knows that coaches haven't slapped players since Frank Kush was sued for $2.2MM in 1979 by his punter. Ironically, it was at Arizona State.

Our own DC has publicly admitted to the HH that he asks his players for their permission to "coach them hard."

He should be fired, or beat the hell out of them and lock then in the shed.

That's what winners do.
