I'm pretty curious about Marko Marin from Werder Bremen. Haven't seen him play much, but he's supposed to be a creative player.

Marin is great. Half the cost of Hulk and will be the most important player on the field. I hate comparing players but Marin really is another Luka Modric.

I'm not saying that Beckerman is just as good as him. That would just be silly. What I am saying is that the difference between Dempsey and Beckerman is comparable to Aguero and Hulk.

Yeah, I know you weren't saying Hulk and Beckerman were the same level. We'll see, but I remain optimistic over the signing. He's entering his prime now so hopefully we get him for his best years.

That's what I've heard about Marin. I really think he's flying under the radar on the transfer market from everything I've read.

With the Hulk deal being done, I'm trying to figure out what our midfield will look like.

FWIW, I like Marin better than Hulk

Chelsea seems dead set on becoming Far West Flanders. Lukaku, Courtois, Hazard and De Bruyne is quite the collection of young Belgians. Now there are rumors that they are making offers for Marouane Fellaini after being turned down by Moussa Dembele. They're also rumored to be acquiring the rights to 15 year old Charly Musonda. That's a whole lotta Belgium.

Maybe Chelsea will be to Belgium what Arsenal was to France

Chelsea have 4 Brazilians counting Hulk. 3 Spaniards, too. It's almost like they want to play a certain way...

The brazilians and spaniards play completely different styles. Brazil relies on speed of the flanks and Spain has yet to realize the flanks exist. :)
